Our 700th celebration year nears its grand finale   
Well, what a year it's been! From food festivals to live music and arts, we hope
that you've enjoyed the exceptional talent that has performed at St. Lawrence Chapel
this year in aid of our 700th anniversary celebrations and fundraising for the
Tower. We still have some great performances lined up for the next few weeks,
culminating in our Finale Jamboree concert.
      
  
Madalina Rusu
Sunday 16th November, 3.00pm   
Madalina Rusu is an internationally-acclaimed pianist who has performed at Barbican
Hall, LSO St Luke's and St Martin's in the Fields, amongst others (see her website).
We're thrilled Madalina is joining us at St. Lawrence Chapel for this recital.
Tickets are £7, including interval tea, with the programme as follows:

Chopin - Ballade no.1 in G minor
Bartok - 6 Romanian Folk Dances
Schumann - Fantasiestucke op.12
Rachmaninoff - Moments Musicaux op.16 nos.1-4
Tchaikovsky - Autumn Song op.37a no.10
Liszt - Sonetto del Petrarca 104
Liszt - Hungarian Rhapsody no.12
        
Clare Lash-Williams 
Saturday 29th November, 7.30pm   
Local soprano, Clare, will be performing songs from seven centuries from 1314
onwards to celebrate the chapel's 700th anniversary, with readings between some of
her songs.
Tickets for this popular recital are £7 and there's an interval bar
you can hear more of Clare's music via her website.
     
Finale Jamboree Concert
Saturday 13th December, 7.30pm   
This concert features performances from many of our well-known Chapel 'regulars',
including music from soprano Linda Grievson, talented young pianist Emily Riley, Pam
Canter, Anna Cockroft, saxophonist Andy Williamson and bass singer Edric Waghorn.
There's comedy from Pat Crook, Martin Woollacott & John Germon Junior, Shakespeare
recital with Charlie Dennis and Giles Porter, and finally poetry by Jennie Osborne
from the Moor Poets.
The evening is hosted by Jeanne Distin and there's an interval bar.
Tickets are £7; advance booking is recommended,
although there may be a few tickets on the door.
