will be on the square in Chagford from 10am-6pm,
showing a selection of animations.

One of the all-time classic animated films, The Wrong Trousers,
is a hilarious high-speed heist movie,
featuring everyone’s favourites Wallace and his long-suffering dog Gromit.
Introduced by Aardman’s expert model maker,
with a Q&A afterwards,
a selection of the wonderful Creature Comforts short animations.
Extra extra!! We’ve now added a fascinating
‘behind the scenes at Aardman’ documentary to this evening!

Don’t worry if you can’t make it on Tuesday for the animation day,
Sol Cinema are back again from 10am-4pm Wednesday too!
They will be showing a different selection of short films,
so you can come along to both days if you like.

This year’s children’s matinee film is The Good Dinosaur,
a beautiful story of a world that could have been
if the giant meteor hadn’t wiped out the dinosaurs.

our famous Saturday evening street parade
is one of the highlights of the year in Chagford.
The parade atmosphere is made by you,
so dress up in your best American outfits,
whether it’s Elvis, the rat pack, gangsters, molls,
gamblers, film stars or showgirls – let your imagination go wild!
American Hustle

David O. Russell’s genre-defying dark comedy crime movie
with an all-star cast rounds off the 2016 film festival
in glorious, over-the-top style.
Followed by the traditional Chagford Film Festival awards ceremony.
